Our Story

Born and raised in Eastern Shore Maryland, our founders, brothers Will and J.P. Dalton, bring over 30 years of passion, skill and knowledge of the game. From elementary school to the pros, many coaches invested in the brothers as athletes and as individuals. Those positive influences helped shape the boys into the men and athletes they are today, and they inspired them to give back their passion and skills to the game...and ProStart was born.

PROSTART focuses on developing the total athlete. We strive to instill skills, habits, and values that top-level college coaches are looking for in players. We focus not only on turning good athletes into great ones, but also on leadership qualities that set our players up for future success on and off the field.

PROSTART OC: Fast forward to 2021, ProStart is expanding! We are bringing our mission to Ocean City, MD - youth lacrosse. ProStart is now offering youth lacrosse programs. This is a great opportunity for youth lacrosse players to be coached by local college standouts and professional lacrosse players. We are also excited to announce and welcome back, Coach Hoffy Hoffman, current Head Coach of Steven Decatour High School, as the Director of ProStart OC. Coach Hoffman brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game of lacrosse. The ProStart organization and leadership of Coach Hoffman will provide a fun and energetic atmosphere for youth players to nurture their love for the game and develop their skills, while building long-lasting relationships with their teammates and families. In addition, families can grow into an established high school program that both mentors families and their players through the high school recruiting years and prepares players for collegiate lacrosse.
